It’s #TruckerTuesday! Last week’s edition featured different forms of technology that companies and drivers used for communication. For the past couple of months, Dr. David Correll and I have been digging into a truck driver survey conducted by the Sloan Foundation in 1997.

In this week’s issue, we looked at the what driver’s liked about their “gadgets” (we’ll get into adoption and dislikes in future installments). One of the things that drivers liked most about having a gadget on board was the ability to screen calls. Imagine what this distribution may look like today. Importantly enough, however, was the fact that the number one use was directions.
